Here's a real treat for music lovers........this is recording of the famous conductor Artur Nikisch.  It is the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.  This recording was made in 1912 (a hundred years ago); and was the first full recording of the Fifth ever made.  The Symphony itself was written in 1808.  So we stand in almost the same time distance from Nikisch, that he stood from Beethoven.  Enjoy!
